Rachaburi
The most colorful of Thailand's floating markets is the
one at Damnoen Saduak in Rachaburi Province,
about 104 kilometres southwest of Bangkok.
Ideal visiting time is in the early morning, preferably
before nine o'clock. After that the canals become too
clogged with sampans loaded down with fruits, vegetables
and other merchandise.
The great Dvaravati Stupa at wat Khong Suwannakhiri,
was originately the center of Buddhism in Ancient Khubua.
